Our philosophy is simple: Your Data is Yours. Period. This policy explains what we don't do, and the little we need to do to run the service.
1. What We DON'T Collect (By Design)
2. What We DO Collect (The Bare Minimum)
3. How We Use Your Data
4. Your Control
5. Policy Changes
1. What We DON'T Collect (By Design)
Our system is built on zero-knowledge principles. This means we are architecturally prevented from accessing your sensitive data.
We DO NOT collect:
Your Private Messages, Calls, or Files: These are end-to-end encrypted. Only you and the people you're communicating with can see them. We can't.
Your Personal Data for Advertising: We have a zero-ad model. We don't track you across the web or build advertising profiles.
Your Precise Location or IP Address: We do not log or store this information in connection with your user activity.
2. What We DO Collect (The Bare Minimum)
We only collect data that is absolutely necessary for the platform to function.
Public Profile Information: Your username, display name, and anything you voluntarily add to your public profile (like a bio or avatar). This is public data you choose to share.
Account Information: An email or wallet address you provide for account creation and recovery.
Community & Transaction Data: Information about public actions, such as posts to a public forum or transactions in the marketplace, is recorded. Our reputation system is based on this public activity.
3. How We Use Your Data
To run and maintain the DGEN platform.
To secure your account.
To manage our community-governed reputation system.
We NEVER sell your data to anyone.
4. Your Control
You have full control to view, edit, or delete your public profile information at any time.
5. Policy Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you through the platform.
